CarModelZone is a dedicated e-commerce platform for premium diecast model cars. Running entirely online lets us put all our energy into the catalogue, the photography, and the packing — and lets us reach collectors anywhere in the world.

It started with a simple frustration: finding a particular model car online usually meant trawling through generic toy stores, dodgy auction listings, and shops that clearly didn’t know a 1:18 from a 1:43.

We started CarModelZone to be the shop we wanted to buy from — properly photographed, properly described, properly packed, and run by people who actually know the difference between a Bburago and a CMC.

What we do

We curate one of the UK’s most carefully chosen catalogues of premium diecast model cars, with a focus on the 1:18 and 1:24 scales — the sweet spot where detail meets displayability. You’ll also find selected pieces in 1:12, 1:43, and 1:64 when something special crosses our path.

From a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado in showroom pink to a screen-accurate Eleanor Mustang to the latest Scuderia Ferrari F1 cars, our catalogue spans Road Cars, Formula 1, Rally, and Touring Cars — the four corners of the diecast world.

How we’re different

Original photography by David Hicks (HixPix). Special and high-end models in our catalogue are photographed in-house by professional automotive photographer David Hicks of HixPix — under proper studio lighting, with no stock images pulled off a manufacturer’s website. What you see on these listings is exactly what you get, so you can judge condition and detail before you buy.

Every order is packed by hand. Diecast models are fragile — wing mirrors snap, decals scuff, and clamshell boxes crack under careless courier handling. We double-box where possible and add internal padding so your model arrives looking exactly like the photos.

Free UK shipping, worldwide delivery. Whether you’re in Surrey or Sydney, we’ll get your model to you. UK orders ship free; international rates are calculated at checkout — no nasty surprises.
